Moonlight Moments Lingerie is another Ecommerce site done in time for Christmas, and launched on Black Friday. This site is a multi-script site, with each part templated to resemble the others. The Index page is a simple html design, which is then mirrored inside in both the Custom CubeCart Template and in the Custom WordPress Theme. The client was very fun to work with. Nickie's initial response upon seeing the first mock-up of this was, "Very impressive! When I first took a look I couldn't quite comprehend that this is going to be MINE. It's the sort of site you look at and think....wish I could have one like that!" Well, now Nickie has one like that!
It was fun doing a "girly" site, very different in feel and atmosphere, yet with an interface that suggests enough familiarity in placement and flavor that visitors find it easy to use. Kickass definitely stepped "out of the box" with this one, and tied it up with a beautiful lavender bow.

My first CubeCart Ecommerce Shopping Cart Template for production use, this was fun in every way! I was told to make the design fun, light, and "different" from the run of the mill shopping cart template, most of which are boxy to the max. The client was delighted and so was I. CubeCart is great to work with from my perspective since I can template it to clean xhtml/css search engine friendly code. This site is up and functioning as an ecommerce site in time for the Christmas season.
Rainswater Fixed Asset Manager
A delightful client and a fun site to do. Clean and simple was the client's desire and I achieved that to his great satisfaction.
This site is a WordPress driven site, so Mr. Liew can manage his own content, add and delete pages, edit content, and in general do his own site maintenance. WordPress is used as a content management system in this instance, with most of the pages using the "Page" function. The advantage to the small business client in this approach is the RSS feed which instantly notifies the RSS Aggregators when the site has been updated. This is a huge advantage in getting a decent Google rank since it will ensure that relevant backlinks are automatically created.
The Delaware Valley Farm Study Center for Sustainable Living
A project dear to my heart, this site has been fun to do, with a lot of stuff to be added in the near future. This site is currently being populated with content, though design work on the inner pages is done. A new splash page is in the works, which will reflect the beliefs and direction of the Farm Study Center. This is a great project and a fabulous organization that takes ecology and education very seriously, and I hope to do more work for them and like-minded organizations in the future. The design is a three column with full header and footer custom WordPress Theme, that is integrated into the WordPress blogging software. It was designed as a WordPress site so that organization members could basically build the site themselves and manage it. This is a great design method for cost-minded small organizations or businesses who wish to maintain their own website and don't have the skills to work with code.
The Golden Gup
Site is completed, search engine submission completed. This site was a redesign of a poorly performing website. Code was updated to current standard, load time was improved by over 60%, site was search engine optimized and submitted. This site is now performing much better than previously, with Google listing up near the top for his chosen keywords.
Circuit Search
A fun project, fun graphics, and very different in type from anything I've done. This is a site I built using Wordpress as a Content Management System, so the client could, at will, update his own site without messing with the code. This is a great approach for the small to medium business owner who wants an attractive site, who doesn't know how to edit html, and who wants to do the updating him or herself. It was fun working with these graphics and adding a bit of tongue-in-cheek visual humor to what is essentially a pretty cut and dried business.
This client was a lot of fun to work with, and I hope to hear more from him in the future as his businesses grow.
A nice trade
This is one of those fun projects, a trade with a fellow webdev who, by his own admission, is graphics-challenged. He just needed a facelift on his site and minor changes to his layout and color scheme, in exchange for which I got some of his awesome SEO advice and php coding ability. He ended up with a new logo, very toned down blues, and all put on a source ordered css layout which gives top placement to content in the code. Despite the addition of graphics the load is lightning fast. I have a feeling he and I will be working together a lot into the future, since our skills are so complimentary.

Decendants Gamer Guild Wordpress Theme
And now for something completely different! I did very little graphics work on this, it was purely putting Michael's work into a WordPress Theme for his gamer's group. I was told to use the graphics regardless of load time, since the group all have broadband connections, and to work to a minimum of 1024 X 768 resolution. A proprietary font was used for the layout. These are all things that are just not done on business websites, which, ironically, made this one a bit of fun since I was ordered to break all my own webdesign rules!
