BOO IS BACK! *Happydance*
He’s more black and gray than black and white, he’s missing a few left whiskers, he’s limping slightly, and has a funny dazed look about him, he’s at least a pound or two lighter, but he’s HOME! As I was getting ready to leave this morning at 4AM I heard a very distinctive Elmer Fudd “Hewwo?” right outside the door. Syd, the dog, went ballistic, barking and yelling, and I got to the window just in time to see a familiar black and white behind take off into the bushes. After hushing Syd up I went outside alone and sat next to the bushes by the hole in the fence just calling Boo’s name softly– and he came.
Finally, a story with a happy ending.
I think I’m gonna lock Boo in the bathroom with earplugs in when I make a certain phone call to the vet . . .

I’m so glad. I’ve been by several times to check…. there’s NOTHING worse than a lost “baby”! And he’s such a cutie too!
That’s why I only have indoor cats any more. We have too many things that can get the outdoor kind: owls, eagles, packs of feral dogs, feral cats ditto, coyotes, cars, and stupid kids with bb guns….

Hi BJ
I have already emailed you but ~ I wanted to say it again! This is excellent, splendid, wonderful and amazing news. I am so happy for you. I reckon with the earplugs – a 10ft chain!

Vkaryl, he’s been an indoor cat ever since I got him. I’m still trying to figure out how he got out in the first place. Ultracare is being taken every time I let the dog out, since I suspect it was a sneakbetweenthefeet move.
Richard, yes, I agree. Only I think I’ll shorten that chain to half that length!
Boo is trying his best as I type to add his comments to this thread. Funny how much easier I find it to write with my furry muse firmly ensconsed on my lap!
