Come home, Boo!
I swear, he heard me on the phone with the Vet’s office making that certain appointment. You know, the one where he becomes an it. That was Tuesday morning. I haven’t seen him since.

My lap is cold, my computer screen has no gibberish on it when I leave it for any length of time, and my dog is just laying there whining instead of acting like the puppy she was 10 years ago the way she does when that crazyass cat is around. This house is so damned quiet now. No sound of paws pounding wildly through the house, no tinfoil balls being soccer batted across the linoleum in wild glee. I’ve been oversleeping since my automatic fuzzy paw cheek-tapping alarm hasn’t been waking me up, yet I’ve been having trouble getting to sleep without that comforting harley panhead motor humming on my chest. I’ve also been getting a lump in my throat at odd times when I think of him loose in a town full of cars and stray cats with all kinds of diseases, and some people who are less than kind.
And I keep listening for that weird Elmer Fuddlike meow that sounds more like “Hewwo?”
I wish he’d find his way home. Soon.

Hi
Has he come home yet? He sounds so beautiful – please tell us as soon as he comes home. I miss him on your behalf!
We have a cat that is such good fun. She chases the dog and gives him a hard time. So I am hoping your cat will be home soon.
