Love the theme but I’m having a problem.
http://www.psychicsball.com/
In the first post I get this:
******************
Did you know?
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: witty() in /var/www/html/wp-content/themes/Spooky/index.php on line 6
**************
I tried editing the index.php file, but then I loose the sidebar.
I really want to use this theme as it’s so appropriate for my site…help??? Please.

Jean, Jean, Jean . . .
I must be psychic– I KNOW intuitively that you did not read the readme.txt file in the package. In fact I know it for a fact. And my steel toed spike heel boots are ready . . .
And since I’m SO SURE you haven’t read it it’s been included in the attached zip file I just sent you, along with a sidebar that doesn’t have the call for the themeswitcher, and an unscrewed with index.php and an unscrewed with style.css. Delete yours, upload these, and the theme will work fine. Unless you touch it again without reading the readme.txt file.
I suggest you REALLY read the readme.txt. Really. Read it.

Oh Oh…you’re right. Usually readme files have nothing usefull in them and I usually ignore them.
Thanks for the email, and I promise in the future to read all readme files

ok.. I read the readme file, I haven’t edited anything and I get this…
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_theme_switcher() in /mnt/web_8/d37/s11/b027f161/www/nfblog/wp-content/themes/kickass-spookyblue/sidebar.php on line 42
Ideas?
thanks!

If you do not wish to use the themeswitcher plugin simply remove the call for it from the sidebar.php file. If you do wish to use it, then simply upload the plugin and activate it.

Thanks…
another dumb question. I have only one post that was done when i used the notebook template. when i switched to the spookyblue, the post pushes the sidebar down. What am i missing?

That would only happen if you had changed a width somewhere or a padding or a margin. If you did change anything, try to reinstall a “clean” version or, if you remember what you did, put it back the way it was.
FYI, this theme has been downloaded hundreds of times.

I’ve dl’d this theme 2 separate times. I’ve done 2 separate clean installs. The only thing I change is to take out the theme switcher.
I don’t think it’s the file. I’m wondering if it might be from the theme I used prior to installing your theme.
I’m posting because I’m very new to this and not sure how to fix it, if it can be fixed. Or if you’ve seen it happen before.

Using the themeswitcher and comparing the code on yours and the code on mine it’s obvious you took something out that’s needed– div id=”content”. And since, if you took that out and the /div is still there that’s why the side column is at the bottom.

Cool, can I apply it on wordpress.com blogs?
Thanks!

I don’t use that hosted blog solution, Jackie, so I really don’t know how to answer that. If wordpress.com allows you to upload themes, then the answer is probably yes. If not, then the answer is no.
