I’ve been Blogged by PCMike.com!
How nice to get such an 18k testimonal from my newest client, Mike Wendland, of TechTalk NBC and Detroit Free Press fame! His blog, PCMike, has gotten a Kickass Custom WordPress Theme that is, though still waiting on a couple finishing touches, up and running in time for his trip to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show. Mike is a great guy, and even though I’m not a techy (really, I’m not! I threw out my TV years ago! I don’t OWN a cellphone! My stereo never got hooked up after I moved two years ago!) I love reading his columns on what’s new, what’s hot, what’s not, and what’s scary. This has been a bit of a journey for the both of us. Not only did we transfer servers (twice) but we also migrated the site from TypePad to the NEWEST version of WordPress, which, I’m sorry to say, has not had all the bugs shaken out yet, and don’t you know we managed to find every single one. Even worse, the WordPress Devs, in some weird sadistic fit, decided to migrate their own servers at the same time as this brand new WordPress 2.0 release, so as we struggled to get this working we were also fighting with 404s on the WordPress support forum, a sometimes broken WordPress Codex, a broken Forum Search Feature and other horrors as we tried to get this site up and running to meet the deadline.
I’m glad PC Mike is (most of the way) working in time for his show, and the parts that aren’t quite transferred are still working and functional. We did it.

Rock on, guys! Very cool, glad it’s more or less working, and really, what COULD you expect of gerds? (Er…. for the uninitiated, that’s the absolute WORST of “geek” + “nerd”….)
