WordPress Search fixed. Finally.
Matt Mullenweig announced on the WordPress Forum that he has installed a “New WordPress Search.” What amazed me about this announcement and the responses to it is that it completely ignores the fact that Matt’s the one who BROKE the search when he decided to change the working forum to a completely untested and alpha version of software he wrote, and installed three months ago. The search function at WordPress support has been hopelessly useless ever since. So much so that for three months there was a sticky on the forum explaining how to use google search to find stuff there.
Unbelievable . . .

You’d never believe this unless you’d seen it….
KafkaesquĆ got together a pretty neat new version “look” - getting rid of all the wasted space, putting the stupid “web20″ tag cloud down the side where it belongs, etc. Managed by FF hacks of course….
Matt decided to do a couple of IE tweaks and set it up that way for everyone.
Amazing.

I don’t know, dear. I don’t USE IE.
