Chocolate generated Electricity?
Ya mean being a total CHOCOHOLIC can be good for the environment? WOOHOO!
According to this entertaining post from Slashfood, University of Birmingham, UK, Microbiologist Lynne Mackaskie and her colleagues fed Escherichia coli bacteria a diluted chocolate waste from a chocolate plant. Upon consuming the sugary mixture, the bacteria produced hydrogen. The hydrogen was then used to power a fuel cell, which generated enough electricity to drive a small fan. This waste material, which would normally be just thrown away, could lessen our dependence on fossil fuel if recycled in this manner.
And it would give me EVEN MORE reason to be a chocoholic . . .

Next thing you know, instead of buying gas from a pump we will be buying Hershey bars from a vending machine to refuel.
