Discrimination WILL exist without Net Neutrality
The telecomms keep pushing their lie– that there’s no need to add government regulations, insinuating that the incredibly innovative internet grew without any regulations. That just isn’t so. Net Neutrality has been in place since the beginning, which is WHY the internet has been so successful.
If Network Neutrality is voted OUT, then not only will the few ISPs that still exist be able to regulate which sites we see, but they’ll also be allowed to develop their networks independently without paying attention to standardized protocols, which will have the end result of splintering what until now has been a nicely integrated whole. Interoperability and Compatibility between different providers will no longer be mandated if Network Neutrality is voted out.
For more information about how we will all be hurt by the end of Network Neutrality, download the Roycroft Study PDF from Freepress, which refutes, point by point, the assertions of the Telecomm’s mouthpiece, Professor Yoo.
