Ummm…. MENENDEZ? Oy….

Better than Kean. Menendez has brain cells, Kean JR doesn’t. Don’t know how that happened, since his dad was one of the best Governors NJ ever had.
And Kean ran the dirtiest campaign I’ve *ever* seen. Probably all of the stuff he accused Menendez of was bullshit, and just maybe all of it. One example- in one commercial it was claimed that Menendez took federal money on a real estate project. Turns out the “federal money” was actually legitimate rent paid to him for an office he rented to “Head Start” who gets federal grant money. Menendez disclosed this, and it was all above board. Head Start pays “market” rent, they don’t get breaks, and there are Head Start offices all over Bergen County.
