New Chips from Intel mean faster computers and new electronic gizmos
By redesigning chip insulation using a hafnium alloy, Intel has managed to create a chip that is faster, cooler, smaller, and uses less energy. Not only does that mean that faster and smaller computers are on the way, it also has significant impact on the consumer electronics market, since all chips which use this new technology can be made significantly smaller, and use much less juice, thus making applications such as video on cellphones plausible. The innovations that this could engender are exciting to imagine.

Don’t like intel chips…. I’ve never had anything but BAD luck with them.
And of course, as far as I’m concerned, they can take “video on cellphones” and stuff it where the sun don’t shine.

And I won’t use anything but . . . I had an athlon once that FROZE SOLID the minute I started trying to scan or if I had three graphics programs happening. Forget rendering 3d stuff with it, the math copro just couldn’t handle it.

Musta just been you…. I’ve never had any trouble with AMD - and believe me when I tell you that the games I run make your graphics programs look like b&w DOS batch files.
