I am just NOT having a good day
Now the bots are spamming my contact form on the barrylyga.com launch post. Hopefully this post that moves that one off the front page will stop the shenanigans. If it doesn’t, then it’s time to look for a 4th contact form version, hopefully one that doesn’t let the bots submit.
Michael Hampton said the spambot activity has gotten bizarre, and is heavier than he’s ever seen before. I can bear witness to that.
I reallyreallyreally wish some clever coder would come up with a way to send 1000 TIMES the hit back at the spambot domain for every spam sent . . . I should think that would put them out of business.

Ok, BJ, here’s trying again! I get annoyed at the 30-40 attempts they attempt to leave spam comments on my guestbook. I hope once we finally get around to launching SFTP and CFTP, I don’t have to face what you are going through.

Well at least I now know how to deal with this stuff. For now. Thanks for dropping a comment to test it out, Scott. I thought that you dropping one from work might be a proxy issue with Bad Behavior. Spammers hide behind proxys, so BB blocks ‘em but unfortunately that catches out legitimate people sometimes too, so it means you have to wait until you get home to comment on blogs running BB.
