Online Tools to keep your Computer Clean
All of us who spend a great deal of our time online need to double check that our protection is up to snuff. I don’t depend on my installed AntiVirus program, and neither should you, since the first thing a trojan will do is shut it off. I make a point of running an online scan once a week, and varying the site I do it at. I also run an anti trojan/malware scan once a week, as well as a rootkit scan.
Here are some of the ones I use. Some of them require you use IE with activeX for the scan.

Um, NO ONE wants Norton, which is included in that pack.

And I find it ironic in the extreme that free software from GOOGLE contains spyware software. I wouldn’t doubt if this version of Spyware Doctor has been “doctored” so that the spyware Google inserts doesn’t trip the filter. And geez, RealPlayer too? This “google pack” looks like a roundup of the most invasive software on the planet.
