In the meantime, my Windows 2000 machine is still screaming at 384Mb RAM maxed and a 700Mhz cpu. My XP system is about 3 times as powerful and, even with all the services turned off (themes, etc), it's slower. I tried Vista out, but I couldn't get past the freeze-ups and all that. I really don't need to see the windows I can cycle through in 3-D ;) , Mike :)

My XP desktop looks not much different than my win95 desktop did back in its day. The thing that irritates me no end is that as long as Windows has a chunk of the end user market, I'll have to own a windows machine, since I HAVE to test on all platforms that have a chunk of the market.
