WordPress Themes currently under development:
All Kickass themes and webpages are designed totally using css based non-tabled layouts. The benefit is a "skinned" site where "facelifts" can occur just by altering one css file, instead of hundreds of html table based files. Also, sites load faster when presentation is taken out of the html code and placed in the css file. The content, since there's less html bloat, is more easily accessed by the search engine spiders, so pages generated from these themes are more search engine friendly than conventional table based layouts. Other devices, such as small screens, handicap helpers and screen readers, also find css layouts more accessible and easier to "read".
Kickass offers downloadable WordPress themes that are free to use under the Creative Commons License. Screenshots of a few of these are below.

Kickass Squawk: This theme is a centered three column layout with fixed width flanking columns and a flexible center column. The header and footer stretch to the full width of the content area. The left column has a customized Archive list, a pullquote box that's set up for a random quote to feed, and the searchbox. The right column features the category list and all linklists. Content is in the flexible column in the center. All code validates to current xhtml/css specifications. This theme is now available for download.
Kickass-Boxes; This two column theme with left navigation has, in the left column, a custom archive list, a search box, and link lists. This is a fullscreen presentation with the left column a static width and the right content column being fluid. Header and footer stretch to 100% width. All code validates to current xhtml/css specifications. This theme is available for download under the Creative Commons license and is available in Blue, Rose, Jade, and Gold.
Kickass-SpookyBlue: This is a centered fixed-width two column theme with navigation in the righthand column. The right column has a custom Archive List, search box, and linklists. Main content column features a pullquote box which can be used for a random quote. Header and footer both stretch across 100% of the content area. SpookyBlue features photography by Jason Koche. My own custom Kickass Theme; This is my own default theme for on my development blog, though it's not always the one working. It's was designed to closely mirror the main part of my site. It's a full width three column design with fixed width flanking columns and a fluid center column. The left column features a search box and pullquote box with random quote. The right column features custom Archive list, category list and link list. The fluid center column is the content column All code validates to current xhtml/css specifications. This theme will not be released to the general public.
